On Sunday, we wanted to go to Public sauna…but it was closed. Even I lived in Finland for three years, I still don’t get used to this Sunday closed custom, hehehe.

We went to see a movie, instead.

Then, on Monday I took her to little city in Espoo, Tapiola.

Then, next day we went shopping in Helsinki and visit to Public sauna. Only we were the customers at the public sauna. We just enjoyed there so much!

At night, we took my mother to the student party at TKK. The event called, Lakinlaskijaiset seli Dipolirock 2009. It was fun to be with mom at student party =)

Now, next post is from Amsterdam trip!

My mom came to Europe for 11 days. Main reason was to attend to my graduation.This was her first time to travel abroad alone, but she was so excited about this adventure!

Actually, I didn’t pick her up. Instead, Andreas did it. I really wanted to go to the heavy metal concert, (Ensiferum).

I was confused with her arrival day…So i was enjoying the concert when my mom arrived in Helsinki!

Next day was my graduation ceremony. I was expecting like a party, but the Finnish style was very formal When I had one in the US, it was really party mood and everyone was happy! But this one was so fast and quiet. Even my mother and husband couldn’t take a photo when I got my diploma

After that, we had a small lunch at cafe and Sanae gave us small tour in central campus of University of Helsinki.

Then, we went shopping in Helsinki. At night, there was a Japanese party. I tried to go with my mom because i wanted to introduce my friends. Also, many Japanese students were there so she can see what would be like a student party! We met a new Japanese teacher at TKK and she was very fun and nice person.

Next day, we took my mother to Tallinn, Estonia. I convinced my friend, Anzu, to come with us! In total, I visited to Tallinn 6 times. That would be my last chance to go there. So we enjoyed as much as possible. in the end, Andreas and I thought this trip was the best one!

It was more than 200 steps and height was like 11 floors. Anzu-san was scared with this height so she had to go inside…

We were so hungry so we needed to eat something. We had some idea where to eat!

After our stomach became happy, we continued to seeing more places!

We tried to wear the Medieval Armour! It was SO cool and everyone was really excited to get this experience!

After that, we had a couple of beers and dinner!First stop was Old Hansa where you can get the medieval foods and drinks. Inside of this restaurant is good environment and you can really feel like you are at medieval time.

finally, my body condition is becoming better then last week. I was feeling sick and having headach all the time last week Now, I am half fine so I wanted to go out and have something fun! But..I could not leave at my work early so everyone was waiting for me in the cold. I am so sorry…

It was good break and fun to drink outside for a while. Then, we went to our favorite bar, Dantes highlight. I had small dinner and beers, hihihihi.

I had a very good time this evening!

It was so nice to have girls night having a dinner, drinking and of course chatting! I hope everyone felt the same as I did!

there is no age limit, so I think the average of age is around 18 years old. I wish I was still teenager and playing the game all day night with them.

When I entered to the main stage, there were tons of computer and people were playing the game, listening to the music, and doing so much fun stuff! It was so cool!!

 this event is for 4 days so we can also sleep there!

Also, they have seminar.  The speakers are from like Sweden, Belgium…etc, not only from Finland.

We went to one seminar about DJ mixing. The speaker is real DJ! It was so cool to hear how to use the mixer!!!

On Sarturday, we took one day trip to Tallinn! One day before the trip, it was rainning so much we were afraid of going there… BUT we were lucky enough that it was nice day at least in the morning! My friend, Yuan, joined us

When we arrived in Tallinn, it was not rainning YET. The forecast was not promising…we could have the nice weather at least for 40 mins, hihihi

On July 25th, we went to Pori (Pori is the 11th largest city in Finland) for Sonisphare festival! In early morning, we left home to Central railway station. The train was all booked so we could not buy a ticket…BUT we found the empty seats so we at least sat down on the seats, intead of standing up for 3.5 hours!

The festival was very cool.

We needed to walk to the park for 30 mins. I had a LITTLE bit of sightseeing in Pori. It was really small town.

Lately, I have been cooking for Andreas’ lunch. Since we go to Orlando, FL next month, we need to loose our weighs. We know that we will gain some weighs for sure. Also, it is good for our body not to be fat =)

This weekend was very good weather! So we decided to go out in the morning. First, we saw the latest Harry Potter movie Finally, Andreas did not fall asleep during Harry’s movie, hihihi.

Then, We had a lunch at Thai buffet and started to drink Some of our friends join us and we had a very good time!

We went to TUSKA open air Metal festival. The first day was very sunny and great weather in Helsinki! This is my second time to go to thie festival!
