OMG This trip was much longer than what I expected.

On the departure day, we did not have any sleep because we might miss the flight We needed to leave at home at 440 to take a bus…we both were SO sleepy, of course

Helsinki –3.0 hours–> Paris –11.5 hours–> Dallas –2.5hours–> Mexico city

Bad thing was that our second flight got delayed because of snow storm. Also, the flight had to take a long route…bad luck so we missed our third flight to Mexico City. We got stand- by ticket so it was unsure that we could go to Mexico city on the same day…It was so stressful to deal with this kind of thing during holidays

Our Mexican friend invited us for his birthday party. The place was in Otaniemi and we gave him alcohol, hehehe

This week, I attended to a couple of pre-Christmas party.

So I am having a good time with Glogi, and some other Christmas dishes

On Thursday, I had a prty with AIESEC member. It was nice to see my friends because i did not see them for a while.

Then, on Friday our group had a party, so I joined that one as well. I have never seen my group members. It was good to see other people in my group.

We hang out with our friends, David, Marcela, Patricia, Aino and Masasi at David’s home. We started drinking some wine, chatting a lot and watching Youtube

Then, we went to a bar in Otaniemi and stayed for a couple of hours…That part is not fun so I will skip a detail story

When we were escaping from this bar, we found a FRIENSLY Finnish people They invited us to join their party and that place was Otaniemi Broadcast center Isn’t it cool to go inside of the students’ broadcast center at night?? We met two friendsly Finns, Tomi and Heri!

This year, the weather affects on our feeling.

Andreas was becoming a short temper person and I was getting angry easily…How terrible it is =(

I don’t want to be an angry person, but it was so hard to control…After I have lived in Finland, I really think Finnish people are tough in that sense. BUT I have a good news. Recently, I am copying a Finnish habit like drinking alcohol anytime. Actually, it is HELPFUL to keep happier feeling, hahaha. I wish I could keep this habit, but it seems like my stomach can’t handle with having alcohol every day. So I had this drinking experience only for several days, hehehe.

Anyway, only 26days to go finighing this year, yay yay yay

The second day in Budapest, we went to the City Park (Városliget) It was a bit far from the central, but several interesting attraction were there.

Heroes’ square (H?sök tere) - The Millennium Monument.
Museum of Fine Arts (Szépm?vészeti Múzeum) has a large of European artwork from Greek and Roman times to the present. Especially, Spanish Baroque painting is great.
Vajdahunyad Vára is a castle on a little island on a lake built for the 1898 World Fair. In the winter, the lake is turned into the city’s biggest ice rink. Nowadays it houses an agricultural museum.

In the middle of our visiting in the morning, it started raining And also, it was so cold, so out visit was short and quick except the museum. Because they had really good collections so we had a very good time!
